TRAVEL / ACCOMODATIONS
DRIVING:
Drive time to your site up to
two hours from our office and one meal is included in your estimate. Drive
time in excess of two hours is calculated at a flat rate of $50.00/hour
of actual road time plus meals & accommodations if required. We don’t
stay in sleazy motels nor do we require suites in five star hotels but
it’s in your best interest if we arrive with all of the equipment
and well rested. Copies of all expensed receipts will be included with
your invoice.
FLYING: (If
you have your own personal or corporate plane, this is preferable.) In
many instances it is more practical to pay for a flight (airline or charter)
rather than for drive time. In this case you may either allow us to make
our own travel plans or you can make them for us if you want to hunt for
bargains. If you choose the latter, be advised that we no longer do stopovers.
All flights must be non-stop to minimize the chances of lost or delayed
luggage (equipment). If you choose to fly us in, be aware that we will
be bringing less equipment. Remember that two technicians can finish a
job in half the time of one (etc). We work in one to four man teams. The
decision as to how many technicians will be involved must be made to our
mutual agreement.
