HOW CAN I TELL A PROFESSIONAL FROM AN AMATEUR? |
WHO'S AT RISK? Though hobbyists abound, recording information or private conversations is usually a business, and all businesses have profit as their goal. Spying and eavesdropping are no different but do fall into two distinctly different categories. Corporate espionage is conducted in the hope of locating specific or general information that would be valuable to a competitor. Privacy invasion is conducted in the hopes of recording an affair, a racial remark, an unethical business decision, anything at all that would be damaging to the person recorded and thus be useful for blackmail. |
